The Foundation is primarily an institution that makes grants. Its main function is to respond to, and seek proposals from nonprofit organizations that serve the purpose of improving the living conditions in Puerto Rico. Accordingly, the main objectives are:
- Take the initiative to analyze specific problems Puerto Rico and then invite organizations to submit proposals and to prepare projects that address these needs. Thus contributing to the educational, cultural, civic and health improvement of Puerto Rican society.
- Strengthen philanthropy in general and its development in Puerto Rico, promoting the effectiveness of nonprofit institutions engaged in the above activities.
- Encourage private sector philanthropic service to other organizations and companies will follow the example of our founding.
