What is the Ángel Ramos Foundation?

The foundation is primarily a donor institution that has as its main function responding to and seeking out proposals from non-profit organizations that work to improve living standards in Puerto Rico. In line with this mission, its main objectives are:

• To take the initiative in analyzing problems particular to Puerto Rico and then to invite organizations to submit proposals and outline projects that respond to these issues. This allows a contribution to educational, cultural, civic, and health improvements in Puerto Rican society.
• To reinforce philanthropy and its development in Puerto Rico in order to support the effectiveness of non-profits that work in the aforementioned areas.
• To stimulate interest in philanthropic activity in the private sector so that other organizations and businesses follow our foundation’s example.
